(up til lap 310)

Radios came on, Tommy says “Who is spotting tonight?” Ty comes on the radio and says “Are you looking for me? Are you talking to ME? Are YOU talking to ME?” Then Michael and Tommy start in with their best DeNiro impressions too.

Tommy & Ty discuss where Ty will end spotting during pits and Tommy will take over. Ty tells Tommy not to hesitate to scream if he see something Ty doesn’t. Tommy asks Michael if he got all that, and Michael responds “Yeah, if I hear a bunch of people screaming, I better slow down.” Tommy then informs Michael that the 26 are pitting behind them, and the 74 are in front. “So it’s 20, 26, then us” says Tommy.

Tommy thanks the crew for “working your asses off this week. I know we don’t have the best piece, but hopefully we’ve made the right decisions to run good tonight” Ty responds that no matter what happens, it’s good that the sponsors saw all their efforts.

During the first pace lap, Michael had to take his steering wheel off and replace it for some reason.

Mike: I said LESS front air, I need down on both front airs cause it was really good for a while, but then it pushed horrible.

Tommy: 10-4, everybody was pretty much saying the same thing. We were just as good as the leader there. It’s better than yesterday though.

Mike: That usually means it’s too much air. Starts to plow, but it plowed at the start, so I don’t know. We can stay out if you want.

Tommy: Everyone’s probably going to come in, but we only have less than 20 laps on these tires.

Mike: I don’t mind taking the chance but it’s up to you. I want you to call it.

Tommy: Come in, 4 tires and fuel. Let’s get this thing better, and we’ll wait til the end to play for track position.
